We watched a film on the effects of tourism . I was thinking about the time I traveled to
Cancun Mexico. I was sort of disappointed by the fact that it is so Americanized. I had to travel to
Chichen itza to see a more authentic Mexico. I was interested in their culture and wanted to see the way they really live and you don't necessarily see that if you stay in Cancun. I really don't think that, other then immediate area of Cancun that the money brought in from tourism isn't helping the Mexican population. It looks more like big corporations are the ones making the money.
