  I have posted some pictures that were taken

when I was visiting Alaska several years ago.

they show the vast mountains and lakes.

The pictures were taken with a digital camera and
not taken by a photographer, believe or not.

The first photo is about an hour and half outside

of Anchorage on highway 1.

within a half hour out of the city you are in no mans land... really!

there are picturesque mountains and glaciers.

As you are traveling to the Valdez you will be on highway

4.  Here you will see some of the most beautiful scenery

and awesome waterfalls .

The pictures of Strelna Lake are in a very remote area..

These pictures are of places you must hike or canoe into.
