Chile's miners

It was so good to see all 33 miners rescued 

after the 70 day underground nightmare.

The miners were entrapped when a huge

rockfall occured Aug 5, in a Chili mine.

This picture is of the capsule used to bring the

men to safety, how brave they were.

There was much singing and celebration when the last man was brought to safety.

Indian Mt. Lake

I took a walk this morning, Saturday the 9th, and had to share some of the beautiful fall foliage
pictures that I took.
Its about 2 1/2 miles around Indian Mt Lake which is located about 20 minutes north of Jim Thorpe.
I visit this area frequently and found the leaves are pretty close to their peak this weekend.
This area is about 2 hours north of Harrisburg and well worth the trip. You are close to Camel Back
ski resort, Tannersville crossings where there are
100 shops,, fun time .. and not to far from the Delaware Water Gap.
